TAXI.com

At this point in my career, I've had quite a few placements (THANKS TAXI!).
And it's been awhile since I've posted here because, dang it, I'm BUSY.

But I wanted to share as an encouragement to those who are working on "getting there".
First, my co-writer Amanda West and I got our FIRST TV placement together for our band Future Kings of Denmark (FKOD).

"https://futurekingsofdenmark.com/track/ ... your-world", has been placed on the show 'You Me Her' (DirecTV).
Yay us!!

This placement happened through a library that we were long ago introduced to by Taxi.


It's also a sweet deal because it had a sync fee attached AND I (Steven) mixed, produced, and mastered it myself.
I do a LOT of collaborations and I've found that many of my placements are collabs.

When I first joined Taxi, I had heard from Michael that there are those that get deals via Taxi that Taxi never knows about because the writer never tells them! That is so hard to believe! If I got a placement through or because of Taxi, God would be first and Taxi would the second that I would enthusiastically thank!

You also gave a lot of credit to Amanda! That's cool. We can't forget how we got there--when we do!

I hate bragging...
If I posted every time I had a placement..... people would be saying...'Why does this guy keep posting this stuff over and over.... ok we get it!!!...you write songs for TV shows'.
It is just your job.... writing songs.
Everyone that has a 'normal' job does not post something every time they fix your plumbing....or sell a car, or fly their airliner....or whatever....it's just their job.

Now, of course....you may disagree.....that's fine....no problem!
