Just got an email from a library I met in Jan of 2017 that my song "New Place To Go" was placed in episode 7 of "Diary of a Future President"!! And then I checked Instagram and found I had a Y&R placement today!

Thanks again TAXI for the training, and all of the opportunities to meet the movers and shakers in the sync world!

"New Place To Go" was written in my days of switching from a country pop writer to more straight-ahead pop and indie folk styles. I listened to a bunch of TAXI listings and really tried to go for that indie folk style but as you can hear a lot of country is showing through!

I thought that song was just lost in a library somewhere for the last 4+ years. Man was I wrong!

Yes it’s been a good day. I’ve always heard that “you have to have a lot of music out there before the placements come”. I’m buying into that line of thought today!
