Just as my first Month as a Taxi member came to an end, I received an email from the CEO of a pretty nice library offering to sign my track "Mad Gator". This has undoubtedly gave me more self belief and a yet another reason to keep working everyday so that one day I will be able to make my long shot dream of making a living with music a reality. Thank you Taxi and thanks to all of you who offered me great feedback for this track:)

Well done that's fantastic in your first month, some take years to get to that point - many never do.
Most don't refer to it as a placement until it's been used in a TV show ..." Library Deal " or "Signing " is probably the more usual expression...but good luck for the first placement which may take a little longer than a month...but not always.

I just re-signed up for Taxi after six months away, and this is inspiring me to put stuff out there.

Congratulations Owen. That's quite an achievement, and as Mark says, its a milestone that many take far, far longer to hit. However, having heard the high standard of your music I can't say I'm entirely surprised. I hope you make the most of the opportunity presented by offering more similar tracks in the first instance, but also keep feeding them tracks each time they issue new briefs. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement Mark - and you are so right! I meant Deal not placement!! Silly me - I should've taken my daily caffeine dose before posting
