Taxi Rally Success!

Hi Taxi Peeps!
Love it when a plan comes together!
At this years Rally, I had the honor of being a mentor. One of the last members to come to my table was a young man from Memphis, TN named Oveante Magsby. You may have seen him playing the piano on the mezzanine.
After listening to his songs one of them had him singing. Wow, I loved his voice. We talked about his goals, he wanted a record deal, I explained what a rough road that could be, but I told him his music and voice would be great for TV/VILM.
We exchanged info , shortly after the Rally, I emailed him a chart I had written about 10 years ago and never finished, I finished it, he loved it, we changed the key a couple of times, massaged the lyrics a little. Then he sent his files, he played piano and sang... I built the orchestra and horn around him. Then lastly, I brought in my bass & drummer from my trio.
Sorry for the long story, but I'm so happy, I submitted to one of go to Libraries this afternoon and they signed it. This will be Oveante's first library deal, and it's because of the rally.
So if you haven't joined Taxi. what are you waiting for......
