First royalty statement - includes a feature film!

I released an album of "Aggrotech" cues in May 2022 via a Music Library that I linked up with thanks to Taxi, and just got my first royalty statement from them covering the latter half of 2022.

Really happy with what was included - a feature film ("Lesson Plan", a Polish action movie on Netflix), a Hungarian TV series, some more sync stuff that may or may not be for TV (unsure), "Various web productions", a "Hunting and Fishing" radio program that really likes my stuff (lol) and a lot of YouTube.
I've asked the ML to clarify, but from the way I'm reading the statement there appear to have been 192 instances of my tracks being used in that 6-month period.

I had a quick scrub through the feature film on Netflix and sure enough my track is in there, underneath a fight scene in an underground carpark. Hell yeah!

I just delivered another album to the same ML at the start of this month and I think it's even more licensable, so I'm really excited to see how it goes.

Congrats on a great report.
I can hardly imagine the crowd who "tuna-in" to listen to a radio broadcast of hunting & fishing. :?  8-) :P
It would sorta be like "listening to golf".
But, hey - if the check cleared, you're good to go!!

Thanks guys! Yeah it's pretty funny to think about a fishing show using industrial music
The ML clarified the statement - it wasn't 192 placements, but 66 placements across all platforms. I'm just super happy and encouraged to continue based on the film and TV placements.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Hearing about it makes it more real. Guess industrial music adds some intensity to get that adrenaline going during the reeling in the fish scenes.
