Charted on Top 10 for R&B/Soul on iTunes from a TV placement!

A co-write that I did 4 years ago with Steve Guiles got placed in the new season of Prime show Reacher. It's a retro R&B/Soul collab under our side project titled GT Sparks (Guiles Terrell Sparks lol) for a song called "Perfect Timing," which can be heard here.
When I woke up yesterday morning, I was just excited for people that watched Reacher to hear our song. Well people did like it. They liked it so much that it led to a massive uptick in the song's attention, which then led to the unpredictable. We didn’t expect a Top #10 R&B/Soul song on iTunes in the process. This is our first time ever charting!
We currently sit at #8. This particular song is non-exclusive, so Steve and I own everything ourselves. If you look at the release date at the Spotify link above, you'll see that we put this out three years ago. This placement is proof that sync licensing is great promo for unsigned/indie writers like Steve and I.
This is all possible because of TAXI, me meeting Steve and me getting into the music library that got us this placement. We are both extremely grateful for this moment! We knew that the song was special when we completed it, but we did not expect any of this. What a great surprise!
