Early wrap-up for year four...

Hey everyone! 2024 marks the end of my fourth year as a TAXI member. I haven't been as plugged in to the TAXI community as I meant to be this year, but part of that is due to the success I've had with TAXI thus far. I signed a deal with a new library back in February--a result from a TAXI forward--that has provided me with regular work all year. Another library I signed with about two years ago (again via TAXI) has just started to yield regular placements. My last two BMI statements have shown placements on Netflix, as well as international TV.
Another success story from the year was signing my first vocal song, a collaboration I did with Casey Hurowitz. One of my goals for the year was to sign deals with two new libraries. Thanks to Casey, mission accomplished!
I confess my output for 2024 was lower than my goal, but throughout the year I signed about as many tracks as I've written, which is encouraging. I've signed music with five different companies so far. I just received a forward to a library "you most definitely want to be in." Hoping to make this six deals before the close of the year...
Thanks a million to TAXI for creating this community and for giving composers such great opportunities! Year five is going to be the best yet!
