3 new licenses for TV, film and radio placements

Hello All,

After not having a placement in awhile, I was beginning to think that AI had replaced me as a composer of fairly easily replicated background jazz. Alas, three licenses for placements recently took place, via 2 music libraries introduced to me through TAXI:

My public domain rendition of Away In a Manger found a home in a British film called Pet Shop Days, soon to be released;
My composition, Aperitif, was placed in a new TV series On the Waterfront, currently in post-production;
An instrumental I wrote 15 years ago, Waxing Gibbous, was licensed for a national radio ad spot for a tech company.
These instrumentals can be heard on my TAXI page.

We should all know that this biz is a long, long game, but up-front license payouts ease the pain of waiting, especially when they're in the 4+ digit realm. It is important to know that your PRO doesn't tend to keep track of any advertising play, so those placements need to be reported directly to them within a 2-month airing.

Love, Peace & Jazz--
Niall

BIG CONGRATS from a long-time 'lurker fan' of your music;
and liking your signature signoff: Love, Peace & Jazz. 8-) :) :?
As it should be...
even from a Bluegrass/Americana/Country guy... :D
maybe my signoff should read:
"How much could a little banjo hurt?"
