TAXI.com

Just brought to the postoffice a contract for an instrumental with with a high-profile British music library. They wanted to sign an already-signed song so I did sth. in the same manner/style/tempo they liked.Another library I got the contact through a former TAXI-submission signed another 13 instrumentals I wrote and recorded mostly in Italy when on vacation. So this was not directly through TAXI, but I'd never had them signed without TAXI.Wow, I like that...Walter

I picked the one above because for film/tv music, it's a great story about how this stuff isn't set in stone. Initially without any experience all of us (speaking for myself mostly) get a little freaked out with "what happens if..." scenerios. Very few of those perceived scenerios are actual roadblocks... especially songs that are already signed. Most of my "deal" emails started with "Is song XYZ still available?". If "no" it's not a deal breaker usually. Like you, we all should use the introduction as an opportunity to write other songs, more songs. Very cool,Dave
