Finally have all the paperwork signed.Had a song forwarded to a Library for a TAXI Listing:SINGER-SONGWRITERS who stretch the boundaries of the genre a la Beth Orton, Jackson Browne, Imogen Heap, John Prine, India.Arie, Susan Tedeschi, etc. are needed by the President of an Artist Mgmt./Publ. Co. to represent for film/TV/video game/commercial placement. No instrumentals. Smart verses and memorable choruses are essential. Lyrically, he wants unique, non-traditional takes on traditional themes. So love songs are cool, for example, but lyrically you must grab the listener with a unique story and/or perspective.... must be received no later than April 5, 2007. TAXI # S070405SSWe actually heard from the publisher within 2 1/2 months. We then sent them 3 CD's worth of music and they have signed up 9 songsSo, with one forward, we now have a 9 song deal, and this all happened within 6 months of the listing.
