change password non valid email address

Hi I'm having problems changing my forum login password. It won't accept a new password when I press submit and it says my email address is not valid. I have tried my only two possible email addresses and it won't accept either of them. My laptop remembers my password but my other devices don't and its about the only password I haven't written down.
