Do famous composers read lyrics at this forum?

I obviously have no talent in composing a song but if I happen to write lyrics here and if a composer likes the lyrics, is it possible he/she will want a collaboration?

It's possible that a composer might offer to work with you if they like your lyrics. Although there are some well-known-to-the-TAXI-community composers here who have credits and experience, I'm not sure if any of us are 'famous' ;)

There is a collaboration area on the forum, you could post there if you're seeking co-writers. It's a good idea to mention what genre(s) you're writing for and what your overall goal is... and, just in case, make sure you understand the business in terms of co-writing agreements, shares, pitching, etc.

+1 to what Vikki said. :D

Oh and I am INCREDIBLY famous. :P (Kidding, obviously)

In addition to posting for collaborators, I suggest you include lyric samples. We've had lyrics-only writers on this forum find collaborators and end up with deals and placements.

You'll get more interest if you participate actively on these boards, reviewing other people's songs and lyrics. The more active you are in the community here, the better your chances.

Best of luck!
