A forward is when the Taxi folks send your track off to a publisher/library for inclusion in their library. A placement is when that library uses it in a film, on air, etc.

Some libraries have music in their catalog that may or may not ever be placed.

Just to add that there is a step between

forward

get offered and sign a deal

track gets pitched and placed

And - this is the part where I probably will look for a class at the Road Rally that helps
DUMMIES (i.e. reading & tech-challenged, like me :? 8-) )
learn how & grasp this part of the process.
Thanks, Vikki, for the reminder to put on my TO-DO LIST.
Cheers.
