If anyone knows, PLEASE list the ways (as many as possible since I tried a few and nothing has worked) to get a picture avatar with my Forum profile. I tried so many things, and nothing is working. One free site was so crazy with pop-ups that after signing up & posting a pic, the picture still didn't take (and I won't use it again). I tried linking to my Taxi page that has a picture - nothing. Again, I won't sign up a free account with some picture service that bombards me with ads and is risky regarding my email information.

Is there any way to create a profile picture that is logical and simple? Thank you!

If you want to, post the link here, for the page that has the image you want to use on it. (maybe add a description of what to look for if there's more than one). I can then get the url you need to enter into the avatar area in your account.

In the meantime if you want to try this - if you right click on your image and tell it to "open in a new tab" on your browser, then look in the url bar, that url will be the direct url to the image you are trying to use. So, the idea is to get the url address for the actual image, not the webpage containing the image.

At least I remember it working like that. I'll help you if you need help.
