Hi Everyone,
Been with Taxi for about a month and a half and loving it so far! Just got my first forward (but it's not the song below)! I have a song here that I believe will work for a tv romance-type movie, but I hate my awful vocals on it. That's not me asking for you to tell me the vocals are good. My voice just kind of sucks for this song. It was Returned because they wanted the Chorus to be more emotional and built-up. This is a singer/songwriter type of song in the style of Damien Rice and Amos Lee. It does not sound like the rest of my catalog, but, again, I believe it could be useful. I know there are plenty of great male and female vocalists who would excel at this song in particular and if you like the song, I'd love to work with you. Feel free to reach out, and good luck to everyone on their current submissions!

Re: Vocal Collaborator
Welcome to the forums.
For what it's worth: I like your approach to the track: the different textures & overall vibe.
If you're willing to answer a few questions about the production:
1) is this close to a final (with the inclusion of the vocal you're seeking)?
2) did you play all of the instruments & do the mixing?
Realizing you're NOT ASKING for production critique - I'm just curious, because I think the song has a lot of potential:
to these old-guy ears - the TONE and presence of the drums don't seem to fit in quite right with the rest.
Everything else sounds pretty well polished, but the drums have a live garage-band recording thing going on.
Good luck with your finding a great voice for this (I might forward this to a friend).
Looking forward to hear how it sounds when you've dialed it in for a pitch.
Cheers.

Re: Vocal Collaborator
Thank you so much; greatly appreciate it. And thank you for the feedback. Those are real drums and quite honestly I was trying something different than I normally do. I'm going to stick with how I normally process them. Thanks again!
