I have a WIX website and I found it really easy to set up and design. I don't think it was all that expensive.

I’m with wix as well. I felt moderately confident to build my own site, but the speed at which wix let’s you throw something together was worth it. More time for music!

I would encourage you to go with a premium plan in order to remove wix ads.. (sounds like you were already thinking along those lines) Your website might be the first place someone looks when debating on if they should pick up your music. Looking professional and having a good first impression goes a long way.

I also forgot to mention that wix has a built in media player for demos of your songs. Maybe not the best possible player, but again the ease of setup made it an easy decision for me.
