Wedding music listing

Post by mewman » Sun Mar 15, 2009 2:45 pm

I just uploaded this tune to my Taxi hosting page for submission to the listing calling for wedding music. My tune was composed for a friends wedding. It says in the listing it is for an independent jazz label, but it calls for romantic ballads and even covers of tunes such as the Wedding March and Pacabels Canon. I'd appreciate any feedback as to whether you think it's on mark or not.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... anksMewman

Thanks Bob and orest. I'm going to submit this piece as well as a harp tune I wrote for my nephews wedding this last summer. Neither are jazz pieces, but they are both waltz's written for the march down the aisle so I guess that qualifies!

Really nice piece and playing. Very weddingish,. I think you have a real strong shot at a foward here. My only nit was that the ambience/reverb seemed a bit dull to my ears. Best of luck!I decided to toss a few pieces of mine at this one last night, like 5min before midnight. I re-read the listing and they said they were particularly interested in nylon string stuff. These are actually ukulele melodies (shhhhh....)Dream of Me: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7320273Quality Time: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7379200Hope we both get to post up success stories in the 'Forwards' board soon.Cheers,
