What Happened? COVID To Blame?

Post by BoiseMarketer » Thu Jul 01, 2021 7:03 am

I re-joined taxi after letting my 2020 subscription elapse. Back in 2020, there were tons of cues requested. Now I only see one or two, but more instrumental listings. Is this due to COVID making television production more difficult?

My strength is hip hop, urban tension, etc. I'm missing these listings.

I think we are past the Covid impact that hit production last year. There are tons of listings right now, check out https://www.taxi.com/listings. I see five hip hop listings, but they are all songs at the moment. Remember, genre demand varies based on what is hot. I've got a lot of trap and tension in libraries, I'm thinking that market is getting saturated... so many people writing those genres.
