What's on the Horizon for TV/Film Production?

Post by Susanstunes » Thu Nov 26, 2020 2:21 pm

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

I was reading in an Entertainment Magazine about the layoffs in TV/Film Studios wondering if things are going to vastly improve after many get immunized?!
We all hope so....

What have y'all heard about it, since the news about the vaccines came out?
Would love to know! :P

Hollywood has been running at full speed for about a month now.

A lot is shut down over here in Europe. On location filming is impossible due to government health and safety restrictions, and film crews can't travel abroad.

Yeah, how is Hollywood doing it when LA is in near dire straights in terms of covid restrictions right now?

Noticed Netflix dropped a new series of "The Crown" recently and filming completed in March.
So looks like the production pipeline is now hitting the covid timeline for big budget stuff in the UK at least.

This virus could be a moving target, just like the flu.
Let's hope it behaves more like the "common cold" then

Gov Newsom ruled an edict that Hollywood is immune to the lockdown orders... :ugeek:

Woah, I didn't see that. But, still, the actors and crew have to be masked and distanced, to make sure they are within their own guidelines, right?
