Two inexpensive places VERY near the hotel are Subway and Denny's. Also, there is a Taco Bell across the street (eat at your own risk!) and a McDonalds within a short walk. I eat most of my meals at Subway and Denny's though I will have 1-2 nice dinners at the hotel restaurant as the food is pretty good (but pricey!).

You can talk a short walk to some gas station convenience stores and load up on protein bars, granola bars, cracker packs, snacks, etc. too. I usually do that. There is free coffee in every room so many mornings my breakfast is in-room coffee and a protein bar.

HTH!

Well - yeah - "free" - as in, included in your $135-a-nite + tax invoice... :?
Maybe you could sell yours, if you're not a coffee drinker, and get some of your money back.
Just kidding.

Yea, my wife always reminds me that nothing is "free", LOL. But at least you don't have to pay Starbucks prices for your morning fix!

What? You thought it might be "Pass The Lemonade"...? :P

I saw a bumper sticker on a custom low-rider car that read: "Praise The Lowered!"
It's an L.A. car-thing, I reckon.

The hotel could just as easily advertised the Taxi discount rate as...
"Buy a $135 pot of coffee, and we'll throw in an overnight stay in one of our luxury rooms - for free!"

Good one! Hopefully, there's no re-creation of the infamous "eating beans around the campfire" scene at the Rally.
