Re: When do yall plan on booking your rooms for the rally?
Does anyone know what the room cancellation policy is? There's a chance I will need to stay home if my wife gets her knee surgery done around that time. I'd like to book now, but I may need to cancel. And yes, she could try to work round my schedule but she may not be able to depending on a variety of circumstance. Thoughts anyone? Thanks...

Thanks. Big Sale on Southwest right now. Just booked a flight Thursday to Monday and it was $98 out the door. See you there!funsongs wrote: ↑Mon Jul 11, 2022 9:19 pmHey, Ryan;
You can check the schedule to verify, but Thursday is typically 'arrival & sign-in' day...
with the 'payoff' being the evening in the Lounge to meet&greet and hangout.
Sunday is a pretty full day, with the finale being the afternoon gathering in the Grand Ballroom.
How much 'buffer-time' you want to allow yourself is really up to you.
Saturday night the clocks change back - which will probably throw a curve ball to some.
I'm a 2-hour-ish drive away - so Thur/Fri/Sat are all the nights I need to pay for, thankfully.
Here's hoping things will remain reasonably calm and peaceful throughout the event.
Hope that helps; Cheers.
EDIT: CORRECTED 3-night stay at The Westin = Thurs/Fri/Sat = checkout Sunday.

What funsongs said. The actual rally starts Fri morning but Thurs eve is registration and lots of good time to hang out, get reacquainted with old friends, and/or make new ones. The actually rally goes to 6pm on Sunday and dinner and hang Sunday eve is really nice. The crowd thins out but that allows for quieter time with other attendees, friends, etc. Some people have no choice but to leave a bit early to catch a flight home Sunday eve and that's understandable due to their work schedule and/or the price of another overnight. However, if you are able to stay Sunday night, I recommend it.
HTH and look forward to meeting you!
