My reservation is already booked.

As well as flights (fingers crossed they don't cancel) and the Kennels for Ms. Molly, my studio assistant.

OOO so we will have a little puppy love at the rally. Always good to have a dog around lol. Probably really helps with networking too lol

The Taxi Road Rally discount rate is available now. So I suggest booking right away at that rate. If you made a reservation before without the discount, you can cancel it and make a new one at the rally rate.

Thanks Casey. I had an earlier reservation through Expedia, which I cancelled. I just rebooked through the Westin using the taxi rate and it was $75 cheaper per night. Looking forward to seeing the official announcement later this week. Curious, do you know if Thursday and Sunday are full days? I booked Wed - Monday just in case.

Can't wait!

Hey, Ryan;
You can check the schedule to verify, but Thursday is typically 'arrival & sign-in' day...
with the 'payoff' being the evening in the Lounge to meet&greet and hangout.

Sunday is a pretty full day, with the finale being the afternoon gathering in the Grand Ballroom.
How much 'buffer-time' you want to allow yourself is really up to you.
Saturday night the clocks change back - which will probably throw a curve ball to some.

I'm a 2-hour-ish drive away - so Thur/Fri/Sat are all the nights I need to pay for, thankfully.

Here's hoping things will remain reasonably calm and peaceful throughout the event.
Hope that helps; Cheers.
EDIT: CORRECTED 3-night stay at The Westin = Thurs/Fri/Sat = checkout Sunday.

So we can checkout on Sunday and still hangout right and then leave after it is done.

I am thinking booking 3 nights Thursday to Saturday and then Sunday checkout, and then wait and see what happens with the mandates.

Let me know,

cheers.

Yes. You can book a late afternoon or an evening flight on Sunday. Depending on what time you leave you might miss the last panel and finale (prizes, thank yous, goodbyes, etc.). The rally is completely over by around 6pm if I remember correctly. Personally, I really enjoy Sunday evenings as the crowd thins down a bit in the bar and restaurant, making a more intimate feel with your friends that are still there. But the tradeoff is cost of another hotel night.

Thanks, Andre - your comment helped me see my mistake - which I corrected, and will confirm:
