Boy do I hear swinging London!! The who. Really really early Who. Ahhhh... Nice trip, Bob! Love it.

I'd set a call and response in the ' where did we go' bit. The response should be big British guitar, of course!

The one thing I didn't like was the niceness. It's got edge until the main line, when we got it right. I love how certain words don't rhyme. To mE there is a slight irreverence with the banging quarters in the main melody. Retro. Cool. But then that line which to me is a tad cheesy and you always end on home tone. Your melody. It wraps up too nicely. I want to think a kinda illiterate kid who's just learning guitar. Some of your chord choices are brilliant insofar as they're unexpected, but the when there's sweetness and happy endings to your phrases, it's, well, dated...

I wanna love it though!! And parts I absolutely do!!
