It does because last year you shared via your Youtube Channel a journey of making 100 tracks and trying to generate revenue via streaming and other methods. As it turns out Jerry was talking about a slightly different approach, more of a calling card to be talent spotted rather than an out & out revenue stream. So maybe not as much bearing as the OP suggested.
You may well be the only Taxi member who put their journey out there for the whole world to see. it's interesting to follow but did you not expect any comeback ? Otherwise what's the point ?
I said last year I think you've got your whole approach backwards. Time will tell.

If there's some specific helpful advice that you have somehow held back until now, I'm happy to hear it.
There's no big secret Jay. Go back to my very first post from about 10 years ago..I'm asking the same sorts of questions as all the other newbies.

For you I think I've said it before but if you invert your strategy from business goals to artistic ones I think you'll have more success. It's the difference between churning out 10 tracks per month that have little to no licensing potential, VS investing that same time taking piano or guitar lessons or singing or production courses etc. They are better long term strategies because eventually they enable you to make 10 tracks per month that are a far more likely to bring success.
