If I recall Springsteen stopped Reagan from using his born in the USA song in 84. Have the.laws changed? Why couldn't the stones do it?

Legends, but even legends die out at some point.

Plus, why would they stop it? They still would get a check.

It would be interesting for someone legally trained to go through the publishing contracts involved and answer that question.
