Hey Sedge -

I was (and still am) in the same boat - pennies are tough here too. But - if at all possible, make the trip.

Last year I was really struggleing to make ends meet and really needed to do some stuff around the Studio. Mazz advised the studio stuff should wait and come out to the Rally - and he was so right! It was pretty close to life changing for me. Not only the classes, but the making of friends and the networking - really changed the way I look at my part in the crazy business.

Have you thought about asking your supporters/fans to each pony up a couple of bucks to help pay for the trip? Maybe write an exclusive song to offer? (I am thinking about this a lot to help finance this year's trip).

I would just advise you exhaust all means to try and make it. It is a pretty incredible experience - at least it was for me.

I'm going to the rally this year for the first time...and everybody keeps telling me how great it is, that I have to come....so I'm sure I'll make it...

I would probably be willing to donate something so you could come....and I'm sure there are lots of users on this forum that would chip in too...
