Woo Hoo! My first placement!!

Post by kevinmathie » Mon Nov 27, 2006 4:34 pm

Right on! I just got a call about an hour ago by a certain music library letting me know that they liked my submission and wanted to include it in their library. I'm pretty thrilled. I know it probably won't make tons of money, but I'm just happy to be placed Here's the song (which is actually an arrangement of a public domain composition):Trumpet VoluntaryI've only submitted a few songs since September, but so far my track record is 4 submitted and 3 forwarded, with 1 of those being placed so far and no word yet on the other two.I just had to tell someone, 'cause I'm excited, and no one's home yet for me to tell them.

Plus, NOBODY will relate to this submit/forward/deal thing like other Taxi members. Congratulations on your quick success (although judging by your first song post, the one we all flipped out over, I'm not surprised). Dave

Nice work Kevin,BTW: "The Long Goodbye" is, IMO, is as good as it gets. I'll have competing goodbye vignettes stuck in my brain for the rest of the day. bc
