VH1 Save The Music Foundation is putting out a compilation CD called "U Heard It Here First - The Best of Independent Music, Volume 1". It will feature indie and unsigned bands. They are using my new song "Crazy Over You". To hear this song, go here - www.myspace.com/xoch This Compilation CD will be released in May, and will be used as a backstage giveaway for a 'VH1 Save the Music Foundation' television concert event "VH1 Rock Honors." All of the stars, presenters, managers, label reps and VH1/MTV executives who attend the event will receive a copy of this CD in their goody bag. Here is some info about the event from the VH1 website: JAIME PRESSLY HOSTS “VH1 ROCK HONORS” FOO FIGHTERS AND THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS TAKE THE STAGE FOR TRIBUTE PERFORMANCES IN FIRST ANNUAL “VH1 ROCK HONORS” PAYING HOMAGE TO KISS, QUEEN, DEF LEPPARD AND JUDAS PRIEST MAY 25, 2006 MANDALAY BAY, LAS VEGAS ABOUT THE SHOW: VH1 debuts the first ever show to pay homage to the legends who influenced the sound of hard rock with the first annual “VH1 Rock Honors.” Hosted by Jaime Pressly of the hit sitcom "My Name Is Earl," this year’s celebration will honor the music and influence of KISS, Queen, Def Leppard and Judas Priest.
