Your experiences with publishers

Post by MBantle » Fri Jan 24, 2020 2:33 pm

Dear All,
I thought I open this thread to have a chat about publishers and your experiences with them. I am actually writing this in light of a very good recent experience with a publisher I signed earlier this week through Taxi. I guess from a professional perspective it probably does not make much sense if I say that I prefer writing stuff for publishers with whom I seem to get along well at a personal level :) I am therefore really interested in your approach when it comes to your priorities and it would be great to know how more experienced members approach this.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Cheers,
Matt

Yes, the ones who are more interactive, personable and seem organized and always get back to you quickly are also the ones that seem to get me the most placements. Maybe that's because I trust them more and send them more music.
