That is extremely cool dude. I'd be proud of that if I just owned it let alone if I had built it. My studio is a mess haha. I am going to join in on this thread but you guys will have to excuse the mess... :lol: :oops:

Hey everyone,

I figured I would jump in on this, my gear consist of but not limited too;

My main comp is a Windows XP 32 bit system, Intel Core2 Quad CPU. Q9550 (2.83GHz)
Sonar 8.5 PE, NI Komplete 6 (will upgrade to 7 in the near future), Waves API, Vintage (neve) and SSL. Guitar Amp sims; GTRrig4 is my go to sim, but I have Revlaver MKIII, Overloud TH1, and recently added Softube to the mix. I have a number of inexpensive mics and a couple more expensive ones. I hope to get a mic that suits my voice better in the near future. Here are some pics of my instruments, drums and messy studio. It's much cleaner now but I don't have any recent pics. Also, I can't find any pics of my PRS guitar and my Raven West I just got, so no pics of that yet. I can't find a pic of my Gibson Studio other then in the second photo you can see it on the left in a stand. The guy in the photo is Mark, a drummer. I tried to get a discount on the drum kit but they wouldn't sell me it without him. :lol: Yes there are two different kits there.. the first is a Yamaha and the second is a Pearl. Personally I like the Yamaha better. The only pic I could find of my Carvin Amp (anniversary edition) is with my Fender Bass, 2nd last pic.

And the last pic /drum roll... is the most important part of my gear!!... The dog that I punt into the neighbor's yard every time I get a return. :lol: Just kidding of course... no Boston Terriers were harmed in the making of any music in my studio. Maybe just a Dachshund or two. hehehe (I can't find a digital photo of them two)

It's not what it looks like...it's what you make out of it.

Hi folks.

OK, here's my list and please excuse the spelling.

Firstly, I should say that the studio set up is also the home office where me and my partner Dawn do our day jobs, so space is limited...

Hardware...

Custom pc running windows 7 64 bit. Don't know the specs but it runs smoothely with all my software and doesn't crash.

Novation Remote SL 61 MK II controller

Yamaha Motif XS Rack

Roland VP-550 vocal ensamble keyboard. Posh way of saying it does vocoda things.

Roland VG99 guitar modelling processor. I like toys and this is a great one.

TC Helican Voicelive2

Elesis MK2 near field monitors.

jackson electric guitar, don't know the model and I only use it for fun in any case, not good enough a guitarist for recording.

SM57 mic

All aside from the computer sits on a rather nice custom workstation.

Software...

Sonar 8.53 PE

Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX

Spectrasonics Atmosphere and Trilogy for older projects.

PG Music's Band in a Box 2010 and Real Tracks audio edition

Tunetracks Superior Drummer 2.2 with the Vintage, Pop rock, Nashville, Electronic, Latin and Metal Foundry expansions.

Total Rex Library all converted to RMX.

East West Ministry of Rock

Gariton Personal Orchestra 4 and Jazz and Big Band 3

Lenner Digital's Silynth2
==========

I'm somewhat limited in what software I can use as I'm totally blind so, for example, anything that uses the Contact player is out as NI have not made it accessible for screen readers, but don't get me started grrrr.

Occasional acompaniment provided by the cat who will insist on jumping on my lap at the most inappropriate moments.

the room is no way ideal, has a sloping ceiling and I've therefore become very good at mixing through my cans.

OK, that just about does it I think.

Cheers
