Re: Your myspace.com site link
I put a few songs from my album on there. Although I go by the name Boy at Heart, I had already put up the myspace page under the name of my studio "Powerbook Studio"http://www.myspace.com/powerbookstudioEnjoy!

Gave up guilt when I left the ol' school girl uniform behind. You know, cute little skirts and knee socks, nuns and rulers and all that.

As far as I'm concerned, if Taxi stopped allowing outside links and outside site recommendations, they would be contradicting themselves in their purpose.I don't see it a problem unless somebody was spamming the boards with a business offering the same service. Even then, that's a fine line. Are we out to help musicians, or lock them into here? Hell, I run Audio Village and I mention it all the time FOR THE BENEFIT OF MUSICIANS not me, cause its non profit and I'm a member of both Taxi and these forums. I see nothing wrong with that.

Quote:Hell, I don't know, but nice hair! Thanks, I thought it made me more accessible than the wig.Quote:As far as I'm concerned, if Taxi stopped allowing outside links and outside site recommendations, they would be contradicting themselves in their purpose. It's just that I've heard of somebody having their posts deleted because they contained "advertising" in the form of links to the websites hosting their music. And yet I've seen several members whose posts have signature lines with such links. Like yours, Stephen.I wondered if perhaps it had something to do with the context.

Like yours, Stephen.I wondered if perhaps it had something to do with the context.well zing, this is an interesting question ... here in this parent forum, was my "taxi noob shows his ass" thread and during a little conversation with the taxi admin, it was explained to me that I had been advertising with my links. I wasn't but I accepted the ruling without argument because I'm a good boy now. reborn in fact.exorcised even. and the thread is gone. and if I recall, there was little bickering in that thread, only me showing off as I've done so often. in the shameless self promotion forum.but I'm not complaining, nope, I'm not bitchin'. I deserve the treatment cus I ruffled the feathers. I know it. and I'm sooo sorry. eyup. I am. I accept the deal as is. I've found religion.but fact is, they were only *.m3u links, of which I've seen repeatedly in the P2P forum. no wait, there were the links to stephen's site where our songs are hosted and *gasp*, a myspace link.but it's ok by me. I just guess I'm curious how it works.hummingbird???
