Just found out my song "Everywhere the Sun Shines" (on my Taxi page) got a forward for this listing:

CONTEMPORARY, COMMERCIAL-FRIENDLY SONGS are needed by a Music Supervisor for a new Internet Ad campaign. Positive, Mid-to-Up-Tempo, emotionally uplifting Songs that sound like they’re from a cool up-and-coming artist or band is what they’re searching for, and they need it in a HUGE hurry! Male OR female vocals are both okay. The Web-based Commercial is for a shoe brand they can’t disclose, but we know it’s NOT for high fashion shoes for women. What Song would you hear while watching a group of friends doing outdoors-y stuff on Martha’s Vineyard? Think of a bunch of preppy guys and gals tying up their sailboats, folding up their beach umbrellas, and circling their chairs around a bonfire to roast marshmallows one last time before the summer ends. What would these rugby shirt-wearing guys and their lady friends wear for shoes? Probably boat shoes or trendy sneakers… certainly NOT a pair of heels! What kind of song would you use as the THEME MUSIC (not background!) to appeal to those people? Not Dance Pop, Hip-Hop, Metal, or Hard Rock! Probably something you’d find on the same chart with Imagine Dragons, Lumineers… maybe even Colbie Calliat! But DON’T limit yourself to those artists! We’re just trying to get you in the right headspace. Got a positive Song with a lyric theme that includes concepts like, “good times, friends, beaches, boats, sailing, getting out,” etc.? Would your song help brand a shoe that’s the cool, new “outdoor” shoe? That’s what they need, NOT a jingle! How about one of Jack Johnson’s more up-tempo songs? Maybe! How about a song like “Say Hey (I Love You)” by Michael Franti and The Spearheads? Yeah, that type of thing might work for this! The estimated creative fee for this placement is $6,000. This will be an EXCLUSIVE 6 month-to-1-year license for worldwide use of your Song. The territory will cover ALL Internet (including YouTube and social media sites) and Digital Advertising (rich media, banners, pre-roll, etc.). If you land this spot, you’ll keep 100% ownership of your song, but you won’t be able to pitch the song for other uses for 6-12 months. You’ll get 100% of the $6,000 Creative Fee, plus you’ll also keep 100% of your Master and Composition rights, and 100% of any applicable performance royalties. NO Publisher Splits! Broadcast Quality is needed (great home recordings are fine). You must own or control 100% of your Master and Composition rights. All songs will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques.
