14 pieces signed

Post by fusilierb » Tue Mar 23, 2010 11:11 pm

I know that this section of the boards is mainly for Taxi related deals and this, in a "round-about" way very much is, but its strange how these circles work so thought I'd share. I got a forward to this company (via Taxi) over a year ago for an electronic piece. Forgot about it. A forum friend (you know who you are) recently recommended that I check out this company. When I did, I knew the name was familiar, so I dug through the forward certificates and realized why I knew the name. According to policy here, I never contact the companies I'm forwarded to, but always look them up. There was no way to submit to them directly before, but now there was. Figured its been a year, what the hell? So I sent in three new pieces, as that was all you could send as an "interview".

A day later I got paperwork and an FTP address to submit freely to. Four weeks later 14 pieces are now sitting in their library and I've got an open invitation to submit at will. Funny thing is they have accepted the piece that was forwarded to them a year ago. It's in there now. ;)

Although not a direct deal, an indirect deal via a forward, a friend from these boards, and by only submitting things to them that were forwarded via Taxi for various listing and improved by submitting them first to these forums, so I knew they were worthy of submitting. And they would never have been written without my shooting for a Taxi listing. Sooo, still very Taxi related to me.

Very cool Bryan! Way to go.

A big part of the TAXI experience for me has been the networking, and you worked the network well, my friend!!

Consider yourself lucky my friend. Normally the networking only works if you are willing to buy large quantities of vino at the Road Rally...just ask Chuck... :P :D

Just kidding ;) , congrats Bryan and good luck!!

Way to go, Bryan! Having good pals in Taxi feels wonderful for the comraderie, education and fun -- and has the added benefit that we all help each other succeed. YAHOO! So cool!
