“DRONE-Y” INVESTIGATIVE/CRIME TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Music Library with a bunch of really cool placements in TV Shows.

NOTE: This company has just started requesting Music from TAXI. It’s very unlikely that you’ve got any music in their catalog, so this is a really good opportunity to build a new relationship with an awesome company!

They’re looking for Down-to-Mid-Tempo Instrumental Cues that would fall in the general ballpark of the following references:

Forensic Files (Starting From 4:00–4:26):

Cold Case Files (Starting From 4:27–5:39):

Please submit well-crafted Instrumental Cues that convey an unsettling, moody feeling that could work well in a variety of investigative scenes. Your Cues can be almost drone-like but should have a bit more forward movement than a typical Drone Cue.

Be sure to stick to a singular vibe and sound throughout your Cues, and keep them on the simple side. Don't try to win "composer of the year" so much as going more for the vibe and emotion!

Instrumentation like (but not limited to) atmospheric synths/pads, pulsing bass notes, softened drumbeats, and sound design elements could all work for this request; just be sure they are all of high-quality! All submissions should clock in at around 90 seconds, give or take. Non-Faded endings will work best for this request. Do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Broadcast Quality is needed.

NOTE: If your Instrumental Cues are selected, please be prepared to submit alternate TV versions in the following formats (when applicable): Full Version, 30-second version, "no melody" version, "bass & drums only" version, and a stinger (5 sec). If you don’t have the ability to get your Alt Mixes in the Music Library hands within 48 hours of being contacted, please don’t submit for this!
