Hey Barry,Nice tracks man! I was hesitant to submit for that listing because I just had no idea what that would sound like. Looks like you nailed it!Do you mind revealing whether you recorded live drums, or used samples? They sound so damn BIG!Damian

reasondemon... thanks man!Steve... You wanna know a secret? Both of those songs were recorded direct with a mexican Telecaster... Shhh... don't tell anyone... the secret is Guitar Rig 3.... shhh... B... thanks Bryan!Damian... thanks! Those drums were programmed in EZ Drummer using the Drumkit from Hell expansion pack. The "We're Almost Home" track was kind of a benchmark track for me drum-wise. But now I'm using Superior Drummer 2.0 and I feel like I'm able to get the drums to sound even better. I had a breakthrough on mixing one night and things have never been the same since The other trick is using a second aux bus with a compressor on it. Then you blend the two tracks together to get the big sound. If you wanna hear some of my latest tunes, on my profile page check out "Buy More Time." It's using a mixture of Superior Drummer 2.0 and EZ Drummer's Claustrophobic Expansion Pack.- Big Blueps - man, it just feels good to be back on the forums again. I know the communication isn't in "real time" but I've missed the sense of community.
