3 for 3 Acoustic Guitar Solos

Post by allends » Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:57 am

Hey friends!Wow, here's a first for me: I sent in three tracks and I got three forwards! <Yahoooo!> The funny thing is, I had a l-o-n-g list of reasons why I might be off the mark for this opportunity and I posted my concerns in this thread: Long shot - New Age Acoustic Guitar! This is a Yes/No listing so I'm hoping someone on the inside listened to and loved my stuff! In Only We Could - SoloOur Love, The Way It Is IIThe Answer - SoloParty time!AllenSOLO ACOUSTIC GUITAR INSTRUMENTALS with a New Age/Minimalistic approach (no bluegrass, folk or country) are wanted by a successful Music Publisher based in L.A. who has secured tons of Film/TV placements for many TAXI members. A traditional acoustic tone with very little affected tone (no washed out reverb/effects - keep it simple and bright) will be what's required for this one. All tempos will be considered, but keep in mind that a comfortable mid tempo "walking" approach might fit this listing most accurately. The overall tone should be inspiring, calming, uplifting and introspective - nothing too busy, dark or serious for this one. Solid performances are a must and recordings need to be Broadcast Quality (great home recordings should be fine). They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than February 12, 2009. Allen,First of all, big congrats on going 3 for 3! Each one of these fits the criteria perfectly. I like them a lot. Very nice pieces. It's funny, I'm primarily a guitarist and the guitar listings I struggle with. I'm working on one for "music to shop by" solo guitar. I'm at a loss... Steve

Wow..that's a great sound.Very dry though..and I can hear you breathing every now and then. I could only get the first one to play.Obviously these are very good...can I ask how you recorded them?
