3 Forwards and First All 10s!

Post by daniel481 » Tue Jul 22, 2008 12:06 pm

Just found out I had 3 songs forwarded for this: DANCE/ELECTRONICA INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a Leading Video Game Developer of DS and Wii game titles. They are hoping to expand their catalog of music, and are needing a wide variety of Dance/Electronica Instrumentals as background music for future video games projects for the Wii game console. While the stylistic range is broad, your pieces should sound current and viable for use in a video game - tempo/tone/beat/etc. Broadcast quality needed [excellent home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three INSTRUMENTAL pieces online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than June 23, 2008. TAXI #S080623VGThe songs were:"Synchronizer"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eam=1"Take Cover"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=1"The Cutting Edge"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1Not only that, but I got the best critique I've ever gotten, including all 10s for the first time on one of the songs (the other two were almost all 10s and a couple of 9s)! A couple of things he/she said:"This song's structure and 'attention to detail' style of production truly set the bar as it exceeds the listing's standards, in my opinion!" "Your works are truly amazing from a musical and programming standpoint. This was the perfect listing for these works as they truly uphold the integrity of this listing's sponsor's professional purpose, in my opinion!...Way to deliver!"Needless to say, this made me feel pretty good I had been getting a bit depressed from some returns lately, so yeah, this was nice.Dan...Oh, and hopefully this will turn into a deal!
