David,I hope this doesn't make me the bad guy, because I really enjoyed the song. I love the feeling put into the sax part. very expressive. My problem is with the sounds themselves. To me (JMHO) this sounds like a modern recording in a 50's/60's style. If this is for the listing of the Library that wants songs "lifted from the 60's" that could be a major strike against it.The sax sound is the most notable problem, but the drums don't "feel" right to me. (sorry not to have a better explanation, they just sound programmed)I do like the second version better, but if you have a real good piano sound, that may be better.It is very close, I wish i had some good suggestions for making it feel more authentic, but you are better at it then I am.
