A CD of my own done, finally!

Post by chrisbee » Tue Apr 15, 2008 4:45 pm

WARNING - The following is a Shameless Self PromotionHowdy to my TAXI brothers and sisters! Some of you may know I've had some major successes since I joined TAXI. And I've always loved playing jazz, whether straight ahead, progressive or contemporary/smooth jazz, but jazz typically doesn't pay the bills - at least not mine! Yet. So, since I got settled in here at TAXI, my focus has been anything but jazz. However, in 2006 I recorded 3 jazz tunes just to see if anyone out there was interested in this part of me and I eventually landed a deal with a small library that specializes in jazz source music for tv and film. Thanks Michael! They wanted a lot of songs, so I kept on writing. Pretty soon I had enough for a CD, but the last thing I wanted was another 500 CDs in boxes in my basement. We've all been there! But last summer I actually came up with a marketing plan, so I decided to go for it! If my marketing plan works, I will be posting info on what the idea was - but first, I need to make it work!!Anyway... today the CD became available on www.cdbaby.com! So today is my Shameless Self Promotion day! Waaaahoooo! http://cdbaby.com/cd/chrisballYou can also get there from my site: www.chrisballonline.com. Please feel free to visit, check out the music, buy a CD or download it, write a review or whatever! CDBaby has been great to work with and they were very very quick! Thanks for reading this Shameless Self Promotion.cb
