A "Fat" Forward...

Post by 10westmusic » Fri Mar 21, 2008 5:33 am

Hi y’all! It’s Chuck from Hollyweird, CA. I’ve been enjoying reading through the forum for a month or so now and really enjoying all the cool music – so I decided to join in all the fun myself! I got me a forward today for a library lookin’ for Fatboy Slim type music. I didn’t actually have any tracks that I thought were “Fatboy Slim-ish”, enough, so I just threw this one together the day before the listing was due. I wasn’t quite sure about it, but it made it through…so I guess it’s okay.Anyway, here it is. I hope I do this link correctly. Remember, I’m new here, so I'm still not quite sure what I'm doin'. lol! Oh yeah, the song is called "Not Once"...http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1And also, for some reason, my TAXI hosting page seems to have a mind of its own. I keep selecting “high streaming”, but every now and then it will revert (or default) back to “lo streaming”. Hopefully it will stay off the “lo” setting because that sound quality really sucks. Ha! Any ideas on why it keeps doing that?

Hey, Chuck.First, welcome. To TAXI and the boards. A VERY cool place.Secondly, there's a thread on the "general hangout" chapter that's all about the lo-fi vs. hi-fi streaming. That ought to clear some things up for you.Ted

Thanks Ted for pointing me over there! Not only did I find a lot of info about that issue, but I discovered tons more interesting articles and posts to read as well as more great music to check out. Looks like I'm gonna have to spend some time in here to catch up with everyone!

Hey, Chuck. Welcome!Cool track. I love the beat - it made me smile. Don't quite know if I could listen to this kind of stuff day in and day out ... but that's why YOU'RE writing it, and not ME, right? Anyway, hope to hear more from you.Kathleen

Not up on my FatBoy Slim, but I can see why it would make it. The track keeps movin and sounds well put together. Doesn't have any gaps or offend...Congrats!
