What a beautiful and heartfelt blog, Vikki. I think a lot of us felt like you did in younger years and still have those battle scars as part of our souls. Songwriting and artistic expression gave us the outlet-- we could express ourselves and also find that we were good at something-- fighting off the negative voices telling us we weren't good at anything. We are blessed with something that few others have- a skill for artistic expression. No matter how successful or not we are from a commercial POV, we have it all over the meanies. Casey
