More proof if how much useful knowledge is in the forums. I totally missed that part of the Spinal Tap Seminar series.

Re: A Spreadsheet of ALL OF MY SUBMISSIONS
Thanks to all for the encouragement and for putting things in perspective.
FYI, I've no desire to stop the forward momentum I've got going here. As a matter of fact I've tripled the amount of time and devotion I've been spending on producing quantity AND quality ever since the recent Road Rally. I'm pretty psyched, confident and more determined than ever at this point - plus I'm having a HUGE bunch of fun doin' it!!!
"Write-Submit-Forget" most definitely. Heck, I'm too busy working on this stuff to have the time to worry about the past submissions!

It's also a good idea (for many) to spread submissions around different "bar" levels. For example, if you are submitting to all ultra high-bar listings such as label deals, ad agencies, etc., for obvious reasons the odds of getting 'the call' are significantly less. If you are also submitting to (for example) music library listings of various "bar" levels, you may see more contacts made.richmstudios wrote:Thanks to all for the encouragement and for putting things in perspective.

Of course, it all depends on your goals and what your music fits.
And, as always, YMMV
And be patient...

Could be similar to a recycling symbol as it should be a never ending cycle.
And each of the 3 arrows in one of the actions.

sguiles,
I'm enjoying the topics that you're bringing to this forum. Appreciate it.
Now, I'm not a spreadsheet kinda dude but I can totally see the benefit of organizing your art/work for your own analysis. And because I'm not wired that way is more than enough reason for me to emulate what you've got going on here...I think I need some organization in my life, IYKWIM? OH!, go ahead a put a column or two in there that explains why your forward became a placement. You're going to need that one pretty soon.
