This Company is searching for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals/Cues in the general ballpark of these references:
"Longest Summer" by Dan Kearley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbJ9cf2Fwqk
"Mountain Quail" by Dust Follows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOdjLxKb8_k
"Trailways" by Woven Hearts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5eTI30hev8
"We Might Be Okay" by Dan Kearley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVvOpEPjK2U
Quoting the Company: "We are looking for greatly produced tracks with excellent performances that are representing the style and genre very well, while still staying within 'production music' rules. We are looking for music in a range of moods such as: energizing, emotional, inspiring, fun, and adventurous."
Please send well-produced, underscore-friendly Instrumentals/Cues that feature well-played Acoustic Guitar as their focal point. Additional instrumentation like light percussion, synth pads, soft strings, etc. could be nice touches, as well! Your arrangements can range from stripped down to fuller ideas, as long as they remain simple enough to be usable for underscore. Please be sure that your production is polished and any virtual instruments or samples you use are modern and high-quality. We recommend sticking with one mood throughout your pieces so they remain cohesive.

Doug, it sounds like it very well could be on the same play list as the references. The only thing that you MIGHT add would be some kind of bass, as long as it doesn't change the character of the piece too much. The piece is really nice though. All the best of luck with it, brother.

Hi Doug
Nice sound and definitely in the right ballpark! Nevertheless, I found it a bit repetitive. Maybe variate the voicing of the main chord progression sometimes to make it develop better. I know it's a challenge to keep it simple and make it interesting at the same time.
Good Luck
Chris

Thank you so much John, really appreciate the feedback. Totally agree with the comment about the bass. I had added some but it could be more pronounced in the mix. Hope you’re well and thanks again for listening and commenting.johndalenow wrote: ↑Sat Jan 29, 2022 10:34 pmDoug, it sounds like it very well could be on the same play list as the references. Thanks for listening Chris and for your excellent feedback. I agree, and get the same impression. I will continue to work on this before the deadline, trying to create some more build and harmonic variation. Thanks again, Dougmelodea wrote: ↑Sun Jan 30, 2022 5:58 amHi Doug
