All things Taxes

Post by ResonantTone » Fri Aug 21, 2020 2:30 pm

Hey all!

Even in spite of all the craziness, I've had a great year so far and am quickly approaching a part-time income from sync licensing! (Wahoo!!!)

Having said that, I'm seriously dreading the tax side of things. Wondering if anyone has any resources on this stuff so I can get a bit prepared. Any advice, resources, or general information any of you may have would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Andrew

hire a CPA
consider using an entity
if you're not using an entity use the schedule C to deduct expenses
dont forget the home office deduction!
congrats Andrew and best of luck
Jay :)

Hiring an accountant sounds like good advice, given that many of us will live in different places with different laws.
