Always There - would love some feedback
Hi folks, I haven't been around much lately, but am really wanting to take another stab at Taxi and to be a part of this great community again. I'm wondering if you can help me with some feedback for this tune. http://www.taxi.com/timbehrens Song is 'Always There'I'm hoping I can fine tune it a bit and submit it to TAXI # S090114SS which is looking for solo voice/piano or voice/guitar arrangements. To be honest, I don't do this enough to know where I'm at with it... is the mix horrible? Should I find someone else to sing it for me? Are the tempo fluctuations (which I actually worked in to help with the flow of the melody) too much? Any advice is greatly appreciated.Best wishes,Tim

The mix/production of the song seem to be good. To me, the singing quality is there, I don't really hear much out-of-tune-ness or lack of singing energy. I am hearing one weird thing in your voice tho...did you use pitch correctors at all? It almost sounds like some of the faster pitch transitions are synthetic, either that or you are singing it in a very stylized fashion.-Jeff

Hi Jeff,I think I heard that today, too... I'll definitely keep that in mind when I try to finalize this.... Thanks for listening and for the feedback. Best wishes. --Tim
