I've actually been fighting "The big 'shlah'" sound since the beginning. I've tried a million eq and plug in's on it and still can't quite get it to sit where I want it to. But it probably is a bit too forward. Thanks for the feedback,BI think the sound itself is fine, it's just a little too prominent and takes the ear away from the other textures, yet I like it. If it was me I'd:pan it sectionally - like every second time, it pans to the R. Make both R & L far from centre.reduce the volume on it a bit, and then balance everything else against it. Bring the bass & drums up a bit.and I'd add another piece of ear candy once that basic rythm pattern is extablished. Something with a higher frequency.let me know if you rework it - I'd like to hear it again

Hi! What I mean about "hits" is that you can throw in a surprise here and there. Maybe hit a bass drum or something to make it more, well, surprising . This is if you are going for a film/TV/video game listing though, I have learned from the screeners that the industry likes surprises. If you listen to CSI music (just one example) they are really good at different movements throughout the songs in the background. I think the song is really great, and it has a lot of potential! Hope this clarifies a little? Just me and my thoughts!

Hey Bryan,Personally I think this is a little tame for Apocalyptic/Industrial.Of course we never know what the screener will forward, but to me Industrial ala Nine Inch Nails utilizes lots of distortion on the drums and bass for instance and compression/limiting to really give it a hard, aggressive quality.JMO.

Hey IG, sorry the vocals annoyed you. The tune started around them and they aren't going anywhere, for better or for worse. What's Butt Rock? The gay porn version of the town the Flintstones lived in? B
