Hey Ted, haven't seen you around in a while, but that could be because I'm not around to much anymore. Hope things are
going well for you?

Oh yes, shame about Amy....so many artists are tortured souls. Just goes to show even success isn't the pinnacle of life either!
What does it all mean???
Take care

Steve, my thoughts exactly. I just read awhile ago about Billie Holiday, and Patsy Cline, and what tragedies those stories were, I think Billie died in her early thirties, and also had a drug problem, and Patsy had a different tragedy. Billie died broke. Elvis was probably similar. I so agree that success is not the pinnacle of life. I'm sure I'll die broke, unfamous or infamous, sans the drug or alcohol problem. I think Churchill pretty much summed my life, "Success consists of going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm."

Hey, Steve. Haven't been around much lately. Still learning my way around Nashville and the local scene. (Been playing out a lot, but not writing too much new stuff yet and am still looking for co-writers.) But I'm looking forward to the Rally and decided I needed to get my bohunkus back on the boards and get involved. Will we be seeing you there?

That's a great quote Len, Churchill would know wouldn't he!
The torturing part has to come from unrealistic perceptions of our own art I guess?
Amy didn't have that problem, at least towards the end, don't know too much about her
other than the few songs of hers that I heard I liked, so I don't know if she ever struggled
to get to success?
I guess the silver lining for me is...it doesn't look like a problem for me in the future!
No Bieber here lol!!!

Good to hear Ted! I haven't been a Taxi member for a while, and even if I was, I don't have the finances for those
kinda things, so no, no Rally for me. I hope you have a good time tho!
Hey, if you run into Jennifer Nettles...tell her she's "so fine" for me :D
