Hi,
Thanks so much for this!!
Just one question, What sound samples do you use (if any)? They sound great!
Thanks
Adam

Hmmm, for some reason some people are unable to get to the YouTube playlist, so here is an alternate link to the playlist on Soundcloud:

Hi Adam, I am primarily using the Cinesamples libraries (CineWinds, CineBrass, CinePerc, CineStrings, etc.). There are some other libraries mixed in. Symphobia has some great pizzicato strings because their round-robins occasionally plays the notes a little sloppy, and that adds to the realism of the performance. I will also use Hollywood Strings for the fast legato string lines.

Re: An Introduction to DRAMEDY Music
Henrietta, thank you for your kind words. I work really hard at orchestration, not only at getting the instruments to sound real, but also making the tonal qualities blend like real instruments should blend.HenriettaAtkin wrote:Steve,
Thank you for being so generous! You are a superb orchestrator, and I loved the variety of your cues. You're a man of many ideas!
I am making a thorough analysis of your cues so I can write some with more confidence.
