Hello ladies and gents! I'm not too sure where to start, so here goes nothing My name is Jonathan Milanes, a singer-songwriter/producer (indie-pop) from London, UK. I've only recently got into the whole music licensing/sync side of the music biz, in fact, I only started the journey into this new world as of January of 2018, even though I have been playing music for 12 years! I have known about TAXI for several years now, but only recently joined (late-March). I feel like I owe so much to TAXI tv due to its invaluable insights into all aspects of music, and I have definitely grown exponentially, not just as a musician, but as a business person too.

After several submissions to TAXI listings, I've finally got my first forward for the EMOTIONALLY UPBEAT POP/ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUE. And here is the track that got forwarded (comments are welcome)

The funny thing is, this track was so simple and easy to produce, I honestly didn't think it would see the light of day. But I guess there is beauty in simplicity Especially in music licensing.

On a quick side note; I moved to a new flat early this year, and you would not believe what poster was in the main living room

Yes... a poster of New York with a taxi in the middle. Now, I am quite the sentimental and spiritual guy, so I knew this was the universe speaking to me. So that's that

I just want to say a massive thank you to TAXI, to Michael and the whole team, and the people in this forum. The forward has definitely given me some confidence, but don't worry I'm not celebrating just yet. WRITE.SUBMIT.FORGET.REPEAT

PS: My fave taxi episode is where Michael talks about the amazing book 'The war of art' by Steven Pressfield. It is such a powerful read, and I would highly recommend it to everyone on here. So beat resistance today and the world is your oyster!
