CUBAN INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by the hard working CEO of a Music Library who came to us with this great opportunity for a Major Network Show. They’re searching for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Cuban Instrumental Cues that you’d commonly hear on destination shows traveling to Cuba. Please listen to the following references to get in the stylistic wheelhouse of what they’re looking for. “Café Tropical” By Johanned Linstead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3-_pFFZZqg “Candela” by Buena Vista Social Club https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DE3CTcGqCs “Conjunto Massalia- la cumbia de massalia” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RE-hMao ... 59&index=3 Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch. Please give them well-crafted, authentic sounding Cuban style Instrumental Cues that you’d hear on travel shows as they visit cafes and nightclubs in Havana. Instrumentation could include acoustic guitar, Afro-Cuban percussion (bongos, Congas, timbales, cowbells, claves, etc.) bass, and brass instruments. While you don’t need all of these elements, you’d make them very happy if you did! Build your Cue around a central melodic theme that feels festive, with just the right amount of Cuban spice. Layer instruments in and out as your Cue progresses, to keep it from sounding too linear or repetitive, as well as avoiding any instruments that sound too stiff or MIDI-driven. As always, keep in mind dialog or voiceovers will typically be used over these Cues, so don’t add parts that are so busy that could be a distraction. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes long, with short intros, and Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for texture, tone, and vibe. Also, please avoid any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed (Great sounding home recordings are fine). This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 Deal. You’ll get 50% of any applicable sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of applicable sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s Share on the version they pitch. You’ll keep 100% of the original copyright. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by TAXI - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016. TAXI #D160127CI

So - when are you guys gonna release an 11-track CD of this stuff?!
Of particular notice and interest is the high-register parts in complement - very cool;
nice 'ear candy', Gents!
Here's to its inevitable placement.
Cheers! Me gusta mucho!!
